As part of the month long celebration of the arts Newtown, Connecticut's  Rooster Bash and BBQ was held September 16, 2016. The weather cooperated and it was a spectacular night to dance under the big tent on the grounds of Fairfield Hills. The Rooster Bash proceeded the following day's kickoff of the Newtown Arts Festival. Cocktails were followed by dinner catered by O'Deen's BBQ. Music was provided by the Shoo Fly Blues Band.

The Rooster Bash presented by and a fundraiser for the Newtown Cultural Arts Commission was led by Event Chair Terry Sagedy and his committee, and numerous volunteers. Thanks to all of you!
