Photo and Video Art Works

The Dance Collaborative was part of Newtown, CT's Cultural Arts Commission's 2016 Newtown Arts Festival.

Participating in the event were students from Lisa Mennilli Dance Academy, The Graceful Planet, and Newtown Centre of Classical Ballet & Voice.

Prior to the performance the dancers took classes and learned choreography from four master teachers: Todd Hall, a School of American Ballet and Joffrey Ballet School trainer/dancer. Elizabeth McMillan, the founder and artistic director of Vivid Ballet, Abbey O'Brien, associate choreographer for the Broadway show Waitress, and Stephen Rooks, a former principal dancer with Martha Graham Dance Company.

Professional dancers from Vivid Ballet a non profit ballet company in Hartford, CT also performed.

Terry Sagedy the Newtown Art Festival Chairman introduced the performers. Artistic Director was Jennifer Cebry, Co-director was Tory Gozzi.
