The Newtown Arts Festival evolves from the Newtown Cultural Arts Commission http://newtownartscommission.org/

Held on the Fairfield Hills Campus in Newtown, CT the three day and 6th annual Newtown Arts Festival launched Friday night September 15th with singer and songwriter Sawyer Fredericks. The opening bands were One Track Mind and Tales of Joy.

The September 16th and 17th festival featured artisans, live music, art activities, dance performances, food trucks/booths, and a wine and beer garden. Saturday evening culminated with Theater al Fresco featuring Newtown Town Players, Stray Kats Theatre Company, and Ridgefield Theater Barn
