It was a beautiful day for the Inaugural Iron Horse 5K Run/Walk Race to benefit the 2nd Co. Governor's Horse Guard in Newtown, CT. 

The race winner was George Buchanan from Shelton, CT at 21:43, runner-up at 22:27 was Kevin Silber from Sandy Hook, CT. Also from Sandy Hook, David McCraigh placed third at 24:05, Chris Capozziello of Newtown, 4th at 25:38, and Bruce Goulart of Newtown 25:50.

Top female runner from Oxford, CT was Lisa Shamaly at 11th place, time was 31:19.
