With temperatures in the 40's it was a beautiful sunny day for the Jingle Bell Ride. Riders from the Newtown, CT Bridle Lands Association (NBLA) joined The 2nd Company Governors Horse Guard to ride from Horse Guard Headquarters to Fairfield Hills Campus. A large number of the public came to see the horses and cheer them on. It really felt like the holiday when everyone sang Jingle Bells.
This event was also a food drive for F.A.I.T.H. Food Pantry of Newtown hosted by Friends of Newtown Seniors.
