The annual 2nd Co. Governors Horse Guard Open House held on the grounds of their headquarters in Newtown, CT had something for everyone. The weather cooperated with overcast skies, and a cool 70 degrees which was a welcome change after days in the high 80's.

Horse Guard Troopers Mazzara, Viets, Cypher, Barkowski, Lynott and Whitney wowed the audience with their cavalry riding skills culminating with the Musical Ride.

Rebecca Howard Hathaway demonstrated natural horsemanship with 5 year old Elliot an ex race horse she has only been working with for two weeks.

Retired officiers Renoff and Miraglia members of Comvec a club which preserves military vehicles and related equipment displayed a Willys M38 Cargo and Utility Truck along with other military items.
